I currently live in Oslo, Norway, where I enjoy cultural events, traveling and photography. Like many others I have a Project 365 in which I take one picture each day and put it in an album: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
I decided to open a blog about photography since I’m interested in taking nice photos. I don’t have (yet) a DSLR camera, and I rely on my smartphone camera (currently Samsung Galaxy S3) and on previous point-and-shoot cameras. I want to be always ready to take a picture, where ever I am, and I think a smartphone or point-and-shoot camera is better than a DSLR in this case, even though the quality of the pictures is not the same. I hope the tips in this blog can help people take better photos with smartphone and point-and-shoot cameras.
Part of my blog will also be about reviewing camera and photo editor apps. There are already a lot of blogs doing the same. I believe that my work experience (I work as a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) (which means I test software) since 2011, testing mobile apps), combined with my passion for photography and my attention to details (which comes from my work) make me probably one of the best persons to test camera and photo editor apps for mobile phones and tablets. I will test lots of good camera and photo editor apps and I will post those reviews on this blog, using a predefined test plan (which will be publicly available).
